Please join us for a panel discussion and portfolio reviews celebrating the 50th Anniversary of B&H Photo at the BildExpo in New York City. Our panel will discuss best practices for pitching your photo story ideas to photo editors, finding the right audience for your ideas, and avoiding common mistakes. Sarah Leen, the co-founder of the Visual Thinking Collective and former director of photography at National Geographic, leads the discussion with an amazing group of visual professionals including Endia Beal award-winning photographer, artist, curator, and teacher based in North Carolina, Danese Kenon, Managing Editor of Visuals at the Philadelphia Inquirer, Elizabeth Krist, editor and co-founder of the Visual Thinking Collective, Olivier Laurent, Washington Post international photo editor, and Kurt Mutchler Senior Science Editor for the National Geographic magazine.
